New Rochelle police are searching for a suspect responsible for the armed robbery of a liquor store Wednesday night.
The suspect entered New Rochelle Wines on North Avenue near the Salvation Army around 7 p.m., according to authorities.
Police say the suspect showed the clerk a gun, demanded he open the register and stole all the cash before leaving south on North Avenue on a black motorcycle without plates.
Police say the suspect is around 5 feet, 10 inches tall and was wearing a gray motorcycle helmet, a gray backpack, black pants, a blue jacket with gray sleeves and a red hoodie.
