Police in Yonkers are searching for a man they say stabbed his ex-girlfriend Sunday night.

According to police, the incident happened in the woman?s apartment building on Valentine Lane. Authorities say the man stabbed the 25-year-old woman in the upper torso in the building?s lobby.

The victim was taken to Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx and is said to be in good condition. The suspect fled the scene after the incident. Investigators haven?t released the names of the victim or suspect.
