Police in Mount Vernon are searching for a gunman they say shot a woman at an outdoor café.
The shooting happened just before 3 a.m. at the South Side Café on South Ninth Avenue.
Police say the 33-year-old victim was shot in the leg and treated at Sound Shore Medical Center. Her wounds are not life threatening.
