An
Orange County probation officer is being hailed a hero after his quick thinking helped saved two
lives.
Police say Jared Ruscher was on his way to work when a box truck
flipped onto its side on
Route 84 Wednesday morning.
Ruscher and a good Samaritan got out of
their cars and rescued the driver and a passenger out of the overturned truck. He stayed with the victims
until help arrived.
News 12 is told Ruscher has
worked for the probation office for four years and is a U.S. Air Force veteran.
