There was an increased police presence Friday at a shopping mall in New Rochelle a day after two Jewish store owners had their storefronts vandalized.
A suspect was caught on surveillance camera writing the words "genocide supporters" across the front windows of Cheryl's Closet and Scoop Shop, in the Golden Horseshoe Shopping Center early Thursday morning.
The New Rochelle Police Department is investigating the incident as a possible hate crime.
