A pickup truck crashed into a Brick Township home Wednesday morning, leaving a massive hole in the side of the house.
Police say it happened around 9:30 a.m. on Central Boulevard. They say a landscape maintenance service truck crashed into the front of the home. No one was inside the home at the time of the crash.
"We put up shoring so there’s no additional damage to the house. It’s safe, so it doesn't fall down when we leave. We’re going to put up some caution tape, the building department will follow up,” says John Sahatjian, deputy commander of the Brick Technical Rescue Team.
No injuries were reported. Officials say the residents will be allowed back inside the house.
