Police: Newburgh man charged in stabbing of co-worker

A 24-year-old Newburgh man has been charged with a class D felony and a class A misdemeanor following a work place dispute Tuesday morning.

A 24-year-old Newburgh man has been charged with a class D felony and a class A misdemeanor following a work place dispute Tuesday morning.
Troopers responded to Old Hopewell Road in Wappinger around 11:30 a.m. and found Jaeson A. Dauswell and a wounded victim.
The individuals worked together at Precision Pipeline Services, where the dispute happened.
An argument occurred that resulted in Dauswell stabbing the victim’s thigh with a multitool knife, according to authorities.
He was arraigned in court and released on his own recognizance. Dauswell is scheduled to appear back in court Dec. 20 at 5:30 p.m.
