A Middletown man is facing DWI charges after police say he had a blood alcohol level that was three times the legal limit.
State police say Jorge Tapia-Ramirez, 46, was pulled over Sunday on I-84 in Wallkill after officers got multiple calls about someone driving erratically.
They say Ramirez had a blood alcohol level of 0.24%.
Police say Ramirez also had two outstanding bench warrants -- one from 2015 and the other from 2023. They say both warrants involved DWI charges.
