The man accused of firing a gun in a hospital and then leading police on a manhunt has been indicted.
Police say 42-year-old Joshua Stuart shot an opioid dispenser at the Ellenville Hospital in September and then fled.
Prosecutors say the next day, Stuart broke into a home and stole a car.
He was later found in Brooklyn and charged with attempted murder and robbery.
Stuart's defense attorney says his client is a longtime heroin addict.
