375ds agoNewburgh Town Police say a man who apparently jumped from the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge does not appear to have suffered any serious injuries.
State police say the man was spotted in the water near mid-bridge span Wednesday morning.
He was moving and waving his arms. A Town of Newburgh police officer used a Jet Ski from a civilian in the Newburgh Yacht Club and got him safely to shore.
He was taken to a hospital.
