Police are investigating an overnight stabbing in Orange County.

State police say the stabbing happened during a fight between two men at 12 Idlewild Ave., near the village square, around 2:30 a.m. today.

They say one man was stabbed multiple times during a fight. The victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to be OK. Investigators say a suspect is in custody, and being questioned, but that no arrests have been made. They say they don't know the relationship yet between the men.

Neighbors say they are still shaken up by the violence. "We're terrified. We're really scared. We are making sure we keep the doors locked and everything, somebody home at all times," says Ariel Devine.

So far it's not clear whether or not the weapon has been found, and state police were reportedly seen earlier combing through nearby garbage cans and along the Hudson River shoreline.
