Police in Beacon say a man was wounded in a shooting Monday night.

Law enforcement officials say they found a crime scene near Washington and Depuyster avenues around 6:30 p.m.

A male victim later showed up at the hospital with a gunshot wound that was not life-threatening.

He received medical treatment and was released.
