Police investigated a homicide in Montrose Saturday and searching for the killer, who is on the loose.

State police sealed off an area around the home on Quaker Hill Drive. They say a man was shot dead as the result of an apparent drug deal gone wrong. Police spent much of the afternoon collecting evidence and interviewing neighbors.

Police released very few details, but believe the killer is a white male who was driving an Escalade.
