Police say a man died from a gunshot wound at a Spring Valley apartment complex Sunday night.

Neighbors say there was a large police presence at the complex at 150 Liberty Parkway around 11 p.m.

Officials say that officers were responding to reports of shots being fired when they found the victim.

He was transported to Nyack Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
