Police say a man is facing multiple charges following a stabbing incident in Sullivan County.
They say officers discovered a woman with a stab wound to her neck on Pine Ayre Drive in Eldred on Fryda.
The suspect, identified as Luke Matthews, had fled the scene armed with a scalpel.
After an hour-long search, police apprehended Matthews. He now faces several charges, including felony assault, criminal possession of a weapon, and endangering the welfare of a child.
