A Spring Valley man was arrested Wednesday for shooting and injuring a person on Oct. 26, according to police.

Authorities say 30-year-old Tywan St. Philippe shot the victim around 6 a.m. near 25 South Main St.

The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment. Police say a firearm was also recovered by officers responding to the incident.

The charges against Philippe were not immediately known.
