A Connecticut man was found dead in an SUV over the weekend, and police are investigating to determine just how he died.
Jorge Gawman, 25, was found dead in the back seat of an SUV in Port Chester. His body was discovered around 8:30 p.m. Saturday on Grant Avenue, off of Grandview Avenue, not far from a party he had attended. According to police, the SUV did not belong to Gawman.
?It?s not natural for a 25-year-old to die,? Port Chester Police Department Capt. John Telesca says. ?Any unwitnessed death is classified as a homicide until we determine otherwise.?
Telesca says foul play is not suspected in Gawman?s death, but the department needs to explore all options.
Authorities say Gawman?s body had no visible signs of injury, and they suspect drugs or alcohol were involved in his death. The Westchester Medical Examiner has completed an autopsy on Gawman?s body, but toxicology reports won?t be complete for another week.
Police say they are more concerned with how Gawman got into the back of the SUV. They?re gathering all the information they can on the case and ask anyone with additional information to contact investigators at (914) 939-8419.
