Police: Intoxicated woman arrested for biting officer in Westbury

A Westchester County woman is facing an assault charge for biting a police officer early Saturday morning in Westbury.
Police say officers found 59-year-old Kathleen Walsh extremely intoxicated after being called to the scene on Old Country Road.
Officers requested an ambulance for Walsh. While being placed onto a stretcher, authorities say she bit an officer’s right elbow.
Police say she and the officer were hospitalized. Both are expected to be OK.
