Police in Bedford are on the hunt for a man suspected of raping a 9-year-old girl.

According to police, the attack occurred at around 10:30 p.m. Thursday. Detectives say 27-year-old Cesar Joel Sagastume Morales, of Bedford Hills, raped his girlfriend?s daughter and took off in a dump truck headed for New York City. They say Morales raped the girl two or more times before that night.

Police are pursuing Morales with the help of several police departments, including the NYPD, Port Authoritiy and Rockland County. They are also working closely with the Westchester District Attorney?s office. Anyone with information is asked to contact Bedford police at 914-241-3111.
