1h agoPolice have identified the victim in a fatal car crash on Route 9W and Lake Road in Congers on Friday.
Officers say the car overturned and hit a utility pole just before midnight Saturday.
Both people inside were thrown from the vehicle
The driver of the vehicle, 35-year-old Mark Savino, of Congers, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The passenger, Salvador Dejesus Rojas, 41, was transported to Westchester Medical Center. There is no word on his condition.
The cause of the accident has not been released yet.
