Police: Hempstead mother, 1-year-old baby reported missing

According to police, Diego Sierra-Flores, 1, was last seen at his residence in Hempstead on April 1 around 5:30 a.m.

Police are searching for a missing Hempstead mom and her 1-year-old son.
According to police, Diego Sierra-Flores, 1, was last seen at his residence in Hempstead on April 1 around 5:30 a.m. 
Police say Diego is believed to be with his mother Yansis Sierra-Mejia.
Diego is described as a male Hispanic, 2’0” tall, weighs approximately 25 lbs., has brown hair, brown eyes with an unknown clothing description.
Yansis Sierra-Mejia, 25, is described as a female Hispanic, 5’4” tall, 150 lbs., with brown hair, brown eyes with an unknown clothing description.
Diego and his mother Yansis may have traveled to Virginia.
