Police say gunshots rang out at a home late Sunday morning in the Town of Wallkill.
State police detectives took pictures and collected evidence at 366 Stage Road.
Officials say one person was rushed to Garnet Health Medical Center. It was not immediately clear how badly that person was hurt, what let up to the shooting or if anyone is in custody.
Police say there is no danger to the public.
