Police have charged a man they believe hit a Con Edison worker in Yonkers Monday and then took off.

Authorities say Albert Popolla was charged with fleeing a police officer, leaving the scene of a personal injury accident and multiple other charges.

When police tried stopping the white van, police say the driver took off.

The worker who was hit suffered injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
