A worker at a residential and day school for troubled teens in Dobbs Ferry was accused Thursday of assaulting a student.
Police say 38-year-old Bronx resident Clevon Claire physically attacked a student at the Children's Village on Sept. 9. The unidentified victim was not seriously injured.
In a written statement, the Children's Village spokesperson Linda Stutz called the incident "a betrayal of trust that children and families place" in the school staff.
Claire is now facing assault, harassment and child endangerment charges. He is due back in court next Thursday.
