Police say they have found the car of a missing 21-year-old Armonk man.
Miles Applebaum, a junior at Temple University, was last seen Monday morning in North Castle.
His 1999 green Volvo with New York license plate number Z52 4CL was found near the entrance of Glazier Preserve Park in North Castle. Authorities say there was no sign of the young man.
The search for Applebaum started Wednesday night, with firefighters from Chappaqua canvassing the 45-acre park.
County, state, local and park police, along with K9s, have now joined the search effort.
Investigators were seen this Thursday afternoon hauling out brown bags.
Police say there are two lakes within the park, and that one of those lakes has a valve that has already been drained.
The search will pick up again Friday morning.
Friends are holding a vigil tonight in Armonk for Applebaum.
New Castle police are asking anyone with information to call 914-238-4422.
