10h agoThe Yonkers Police Department continues to crack down on illegal activities at smoke shops.
The smoke shop task force discovered a trove of products this weekend at 15 Palisade Ave.
Officials say officers found numerous violations and unlawful substances stored in a hidden room, and being sold to the public, including unlicensed or illegal THC edibles, vaping products, cannabis, and cannabis oils, and more.
Police confiscated all the products and issued citations.
The department says the New York State Legislature has not provided any structural support to local municipalities since decriminalizing cannabis, hence issues like this.
