Police: Bronx man charged in Carmel domestic disturbance

Police say 38-year-old Michael Melendez was found bleeding from his arm on Orchard Road.

A man from the Bronx faces charges in connection to a domestic disturbance in Carmel on Thursday.
Police say 38-year-old Michael Melendez was found bleeding from his arm on Orchard Road.
He is accused of going into a woman's home where he hurt himself when he punched a glass panel door.
Detectives say he was arrested and charged with criminal trespass, criminal mischief and resisting arrest.
He was arraigned in Carmel Town Court and released on his own recognizance.
