A 3-month-old baby is safe after being rescued from a locked vehicle in a parking garage near the Target store in White Plains.
Newly released police bodycam video shows officers responding after the infant was accidentally locked inside the car.
Police said officers were able to get both the child and the vehicle's keys out within two minutes.
The baby was quickly reunited with the child's mother.
No injuries were reported.
Police are reminding drivers to always make sure they have their keys before closing a vehicle door.
Officials also stress that children and pets should never be left alone in a parked vehicle.
If a child or pet becomes locked inside a vehicle, police say to call 911 immediately.
