Police say that a skimming device was discovered at a Suffern bank.
Police say the suspects targeted ATM users at the First Niagara Bank at 62 Lafayette Ave. The culprits stole credit and debit card information from bank patrons who used the ATM in the lobby, according to investigators.
Bank officials discovered the device last week. They say they are unsure of how long it was present, but a customer brought it to their attention after having difficulty using his card.
Police are urging First Niagara Bank customers to monitor their accounts for suspicious activity.
