A fire that decimated a New York State Thruway Authority salt shed in Larchmont was allegedly set on purpose Tuesday.
Police arrested Richard Cass, from Massachusetts, on arson charges.
Chopper 12 was overhead after the fire sparked just after 5 p.m. at the yard.
The fire spread to the Larchmont Millwork Company on Fifth Avenue. Much of the company's workshop was left in shambles.
There is no word yet on a motive.
