Suspect charged in violent beating of MTA bus driver in Yonkers

Town of Walkill Police say they arrested a man after he was accused of walking around with a gun which left some concerned.

William McGillicuddy, 32, was found by police armed with several firearms in the vicinity of 41 Putters Way, according to detectives.

After officers took McGillicuddy into custody, police say they discovered that one round from one of those firearms was discharged.

McGillicuddy faces charges of criminal possession of a weapon and reckless endangerment.

The suspect was arraigned and is being held in Orange County Jail on $40,000 bond, according to online jail records.
