Clarkstown police say they are searching for the shooter who wounded three women in a late night party at Cy's Restaurant and Lounge in Nyack.

Police say shots were fired around 3 a.m. Saturday.

"My staff and security stays back to make sure everyone is leaving the parking lot. The doors were closed when we heard two shots," recounted co-owner Daniel Occena.

Clarkstown police say they found one woman on the ground in front of the restaurant with gunshot wounds to her leg and abdomen. She was rushed to Montefiore Nyack Hospital for treatment and is expected to survive.

The two other women who suffered injuries that were not life-threatening drove themselves to the hospital, according to police.

Police say the gunman was still on the loose as of Saturday evening and that the shooting appears to be a random act of violence.

Clarkstown police ask anyone with information about the shooting to call them at 845-639-5840.
