Several people were arrested over the weekend, accused of stealing over-the-counter medication from pharmacies in New Windsor.
Police say they responded to a Walgreen's on Saturday for a similar larceny, but the suspects fled.
During a traffic stop, one of the four people in a car tried to run away but was arrested by police. Three other suspects were later arrested.
Police say they found more than $9,000 worth of stolen medications and personal hygiene products in the car.
Three of the four suspects were charged. Edwin Biggs, 49, Jahaida Marshall, 18, and a juvenile were charged with petit larceny and possession of burglar tools.
Charges were not filed against the fourth suspect.
