Police: 2-year-old drowns in Chappaqua

<p>A 2-year-old boy has died in Chappaqua, according to police. Investigators say the child was found in small pond on Whippoorwill Road after he was reported missing yesterday. The boy was taken to Northern Westchester Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police say it appears to be accidental, but they are still investigating.</p>

Police say a 2-year-old boy drowned in Chappaqua Sunday evening.
Investigators say the toddler went missing for 30 minutes from his home on Whippoorwill Road.
The family searched frantically around the property and found him in a small pond.
The boy was taken to Northern Westchester Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police say it appears to be accidental, but they are still investigating.
The boy’s name has not been released.
