A bar fight left two people shot and two stabbed early Saturday morning in Yonkers, police say.
The incident occurred at the Bottoms Up Bar at corner of Nepperhan Avenue and Elm Street at around 3 a.m. Apparently, the fight spilled over into the street where the shooting and stabbing took place. At the height of their investigation, police say the widespread crime scene covered an area of three blocks.
Officials say the injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.
Police say it does not appear the violence was gang-related.
Patrons and storeowners in the area say safety has been an ongoing issue and they hope something will be done to quell the violence.
