Police have arrested two New Jersey men who allegedly tried to scam money from a Hudson Valley senior.
According to Stony Point police, an elderly man got a call from someone claiming his grandchild was in jail and needed bail money.
Officers were there earlier this week when one of the suspects showed up to collect an undisclosed amount of money from the victim.
The first suspect was arrested immediately. A second suspect was arrested nearby.
Both men are expected to face a judge next month.
