A shooting in Middletown sent two men to the hospital late Saturday night.

Authorities say multiple shots rang out along Dolson Road at around 11:15 p.m. near an Autozone. It prompted a road closure that spanned seven blocks to allow police to investigate.

Surveillance video captured the scene as an SUV was riddled with bullet holes and shattered windows, which appeared to have attempted to flee the shooting.

Shell casings were scattered across the pavement and police K-9's sniffed the area for evidence.

Middletown police say that the two men that were shot in their lower extremities and are in stable condition at a nearby medical center.

No arrests have been made so far, but the Middletown police are actively investigating the incident.
