Police say two drunken drivers crashed head-on Thursday night in Yorktown, causing injuries and destroying both vehicles.
Authorities say 19-year-old Adam Kaczor was making an illegal left turn onto Broad Street when he collided head-on into a car driven by 35-year-old Dennis Marralheiro.
The two drivers and three teen passengers who were in Kaczor's car were brought to Westchester Medical Center. News 12 was told they are being treated for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Kaczor was charged with misdemeanor DWI. Marralheiro faces a felony DWI charge because he had a previous DWI conviction.
Both drivers were ticketed and released to the hospital staff. They are due back in court in January.
