News 12 has learned two people have been arrested for burglarizing the Red Roof Inn in Westbury.
Nassau police says Edwin Rivera, of Levittown and Jennifer Gill, of Islip Terrace, were both staying at the hotel Sunday.
According to police, the duo was caught on camera opening the plexiglass partition to the unoccupied reception desk.
Police say that’s when they entered an employees' only section area and damaged a hotel workstation computer.
Police were able to track the duo down inside the hotel and arrested them.
Both are now facing burglary and criminal mischief charges.
