A person is in serious condition after slamming a car into a tree.
Cornwall-on-Hudson police say Jonathan Edwards was trying to avoid a deer on Shore Road when he lost control of his car.
Edwards and his passenger were hospitalized.
Police say speed was also a factor in the crash.
