Police say at least one person is dead following an overnight motor vehicle crash in Westchester.

Officers say it happened in the southbound lanes of the Sprain Brook Parkway at the Dobbs Ferry Road exit in Greenburgh around 2 a.m.

A heavily damaged SUV was seen on the side of the road near the center median.

The medical examiner was also on the scene.

It is unknown if any other vehicles were involved, or if anyone else was hurt.

Traffic on the parkway was narrowed down to one lane southbound.
