The Hudson Valley is preparing for one of its biggest summer music events that's set to take place on Saturday in Pleasantville.

This year marks the 13th annual New York Backyard Jam.

Music lovers will gather on Parkway Field where they can enjoy live music performed by 18 different bands, food vendors and a beer and wine garden.

This year's headliners include Blues Traveler and Suzanne Vega.

There will also be lots of local talent, craft vendors and a children's area. 

The event kicks off at 11 a.m. and is expected to go later than 8 p.m.

The  event's organizers say the festival will go on rain or shine.
