Keep your eyes on the night sky tonight as the Perseid meteor shower is expected to peak.

The meteor shower will be most visible tonight going into Wednesday.

But the nighttime spectacle will be competing with a bright half-moon in the sky, outshining at least two-thirds of the falling meteors, according to NASA.

They say stargazers should expect to see a shooting star every few minutes.
