Purchase-based PepsiCo is unveiling healthy vending machines.
The new 'Hello Goodness' vending machine offers healthier product choices including gluten-free and fat-free products. Some of the brands include Naked Juice, Smartfood Delight popcorn, Lay's Oven Baked potato chips, Quaker Real Medleys bars, Pure Leaf iced tea, Propel Electrolyte Water, Tropicana Pure Premium and Sabra Ready-to-Eat Hummus cups.
The vending machines have touch screens that display nutritional information and can also suggest food and beverage pairings based on the time of day.
Pepsi says the machines will be placed in health care, government and educational facilities beginning in 2016.
