The quick thinking of a Pelham man helped save his home from going up in flames today.
Pelham fire officials tell News 12 the fire began in the upstairs bathroom of a home on Benedict Place this morning.
The homeowner quickly closed the bathroom door, contained the flames, and kept it from spreading to the rest of the house.
No one was injured in the blaze.
The New Rochelle Fire Department also helped fight and put out the flames.
Investigators believe it was an electrical fire, but the exact cause is still under investigation.
