A victim has been identified in this weekend’s deadly crash on the Palisades Parkway.

Police have identified the victim as Raul Ortunouzha, of Peekskill.

The crash happened just before 5 a.m. Sunday in Stony Point just past exit 15, shutting down the parkway for several hours.

Emergency officials say Ortunouzha was driving when he crossed the median, and slammed into another car on the southbound side.

He died at the scene while the southbound driver had non-life-threatening injuries.

There is no word yet what caused Ortunouzha to lose control.
