A house on Depew Street in Westchester County suffered significant damage after a two-alarm fire broke out, the Mohegan Fire Department reported.
Flames shot through the roof as eight fire departments responded to the scene.
Crews worked inside and outside the home to extinguish the blaze. The side of the house was left blackened and charred in the aftermath.
There's no information yet on the cause of the fire or if anyone was injured.
