The Peekskill Fire Department hosted the city's annual Independence Day parade on Saturday.
Organizers expected a large turnout for the parade, which has been a staple of the city for decades.
Firefighters, police officers and EMS workers were among those marching to the sounds of bagpipes and rolling snare drums, including the music of the Dixie Dandies.
The 2-mile parade route ran along Washington Street and concluded at Depew Park.
