Students in
Peekskill will have a new place to learn as the district is completing its new STEAM
Innovation
Center.
The project will
feature state-of-the-art workspaces and common areas for students in the district's Science, Math, Art,
Computer Science and Robotics programs.
The initiative was given the greenlight from
voters who approved Peekskill's capital project.
Under it, the district has also built a new
Family Resource Center, a STEAM Lab at Hillcrest Elementary and a turf field
stadium at Torpy Field.
