The community of Pearl River has won the title of the most Irish place in New York State, according to the website Nerd Wallet.
Citing U.S. Census data, it says more than half the people living in the hamlet claim to have Irish ancestry.
In Pearl River, the parties don't stop on St. Patrick's Day. There will be plenty of shamrocks and shenanigans Sunday for the big parade.
The Pearl River Saint Patrick's Day parade kicks off Sunday at 1:30 p.m.
